Q : Where is the Serre Chevalier Chantemerle ESI... ?
R : You’ll find us outside the Serre d’Aigle centre, on the outside balcony, at the bottom of the Luc Alphand piste
Q : What’s the difference between the ESI and the ESF ?
R : There is no difference between the two schools in terms of the standard of qualifications of our instructors; they have all graduated from France’s National Ski and Alpinism School (ENSA) in Chamonix. The Évasion ski school is a small and friendly business where we know all our clients and are often able to develop close relationships with them.
Q : Do you have a maximum class size for your group lessons ?
R : Yes, this has always been 9 for children’s groups (or 5 if you choose the beginners group for children aged 4 to 6, that runs from 12 noon to 2pm) and 7 for adults
Q : Do you get priority in the lift queues ?
R : Yes, for most of them we do, just like the other ski schools. (Some lifts don’t have a priority queue system.)
Q : How long have you been around ?
R : We have been in business for around 30 years, and prefer to stick to the same modest size.
Q : Where do I meet my instructor ?
R : Opposite the ski school for groups lessons (if you would like to meet on the slopes, arrange this with your instructor when you first meet up) or somewhere convenient for you for private lessons.
